Terms of Service
Welcome to SoulSift.io ("Soul Sift", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who can use Soul Sift
You must be at least 13 years old to use Soul Sift. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for what happens under your account. Pick a strong password, don't share your credentials, and let us know quickly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may close your account at any time from Settings; closure triggers a 30-day grace period and then a permanent, irreversible delete.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the links, titles, descriptions, images, and other content you add to your profile ("your content"). By adding content to Soul Sift you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and serve that content for the purpose of operating the service, including showing it on your public profile and, if you choose to be public, in any discovery directory.
You're responsible for your content. Don't post anything you don't have the right to post.
4. No moderation, with limits
Freedom of speech is a core value of Soul Sift. We do not moderate or curate user content. That means we don't pre-screen your profile, your blocks, or your links, but it also means you alone are responsible for what you publish.
That said, you must not use Soul Sift to:
- Post or link to content that is illegal where you live, where we operate, or where it is hosted.
- Infringe someone else's intellectual property. See our DMCA policy.
- Impersonate another person or organization in a way that misleads people.
- Send spam, run automated scrapers against the site, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Distribute malware or content that exists primarily to harm other users.
We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that clearly violate these limits.
5. Service availability
Soul Sift is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We're a small team and we may change, pause, or shut down features (or the whole service) at any time. We'll do our best to give notice when we can.
6. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soul Sift is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months, which, during the free beta, is zero.
7. Termination
You can leave at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. On account closure or removal, your data is hard-deleted after the grace period. There's no shadow copy.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Brazil, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
